avery - October 10, 2005 08:37 AM (GMT)
Hello everyone! I am one of the amature magician in town and I am doin it as a hobby. The reason I am here to inform everyone about the story of the magician ***** ****. Since the opening of the magic show M**** **** (***** *****), he has been running the shop on behalf of his boss (who is also a well known magician in the 80') but he been claming that he owned the shop.He said that even in his interview with 8TV (Eve's Diary) and also few chinese newspapers. I dont know how come he got the guts to tell everyone that he owned the shop,in fact he also told all the magician in other parts of the world the same things. What a thick face.
Last week,he has been sacked by his boss for cheating on him and also the M**** **** by undercut the company business. He boss trusted him all this while but he played his boss and the company out. He cheated the company and his boss money and that involved a huge amount of money. But when someone asked him why he was no longer there,he told everyone that he contract has expired. So to everyone out there, please be careful of this person by the name of ***** ****. You many not choose to trust what I am saying but you may double check with those full time and professional magician in Malaysia.

Thanks for your word of warning, but I don't know how to put this, but please do not use this forum for flaming anyone. This is not the purpose of the forum in the first place.

Hello "avery",

You came into this forum without even bothering to follow the rules and guidelines here. Your intention clearly shows that you want to .... to this guy you are talking about. In fact even the nickname you choose to use is also for a purpose.

The magic fraternity and fellowship is for the purpose of promoting the art of magic and also to grow together in the spirit of this art - to help one another by exchanging ideas and sharing.

Instead of doing it, you just came in and tarnish someone, whom you may already not in good terms with.

Every day, night and even in the wee hours of the morning, magicians from everywhere visit me and they tell me everything. Many magicians are very close with me and many know of my principles and ethics in protecting magic and I will now hesitate to tell anyone off.

Eventhough you are hiding behind that "nickname" I know who you are. If you want respect from everyone in the magic fraternity, please respect others first. I will not reveal your identity to anyone but if you repeat this without respect, expect me and a group of pros to pay you visit.

Many people make the mistake of hiding behind nicknames on the Internet. Let me assure you - everyone can be tracked down by many variables (I use all these variables to track anyone down and I have strong connections to get the info I want).

Moderators, please don't delete or censor this post. Let it be an example for others to see how magicians should respect one another, support one another and be sharing with one another. I will not hesitate to tell anyone off or take necessary actions to protect magic and MMF.

I have survived and be respected for 38 years in the magic fraternity. And I ve seen magicians who show no respect for others being wiped out from the industry especially not being able to find work (magic shows) or income because of the unity among the pros.

So guys, respect for others and for magic is important.

Thanks James Tong for ya word of wisdom and advice to all of us young magicians here.

Guys, i've read and heard so many cases of flaming and all between magicians, many actually in USA, in Europe there sure ought to have magicians flaming other magicians for their work and involvement in magic.

Surely all these are not necessary. We as magicians are ought to respect or stay low profile on this kinda matter. Magicians make mistakes, yeah come on, every body does. Flaming one would not make the person better but instead will make matters worst. Everyone is different in this world, so are magicians... you may not like someone's way of doing magic but still we have to respect each. Show respect and you will be respected back.

MMF is a place for all magicians to come together and share and have fun in the ART together. James, yup Ill leave this post up for ALL to learn. Please note that MMF will be strict on this matter. Any future flamming will NOT be tolerated.

I appreciate everyone help in making MMF a better place for us all. :)

Cheers and have a wonderful day dudes!
