Waitician will do PR too...But they are ladies as they will assist as waitress too.
I am setting up a franchise team soon too and i need PA and franchise executive.

Vision, Im a PR practicioner and i studied PR for 4 years as my major in my mass communication degree.

Of course by smiling,talking softly, accommodating customers needs and serve accordingly is part of praticing good PR. Im sure you will advise MTR Waitician to practice that (hehe..event with the toughest hecklers and non believers around). however by PR i meant serious PR skills:

1.Event management
-Launching, Press conference, event logistics etc...etc

2.Press monitoring
-Consider Media monitoring as well; keep track about our rivals, news on related issues such as magic, issues related to the industry such as F&B..etc..

3.Customer retention program
-A deeper sense of customer loyalty program. Rewarding customers..keep track of valued customers..etc..etc..

4.On going Publicity Campaign
-Perhaps you want to have a 2 month long "Special MTR Promo" campaign..Publicity matters, advertisement, local authorities, publics..

5.Media relations
-Relationship between MTR and the media world i.e Newspapers, Radio,
TV,Magazines...These are the people that can boost MTR's reputatiom ..etc..etc..

6.Advertisement assesment
-Managing and evaluating/negotiating as well as deciding which media MTR's advertisement should subscribe..what kind of write up about MTR u need to boost the reputation and make MTR well known...How long the subscribtion period..etc..etc..

7.Crisis management
-Should there be a crisis regarding MTR i.e fire, robbery,etc..etc..it is vital to have a good communication channel with the important channel to prevent bad reputation

thats just my two cent vision. i want to see the success of MTR as much as you do so we can hang out and chill there. should you need any enquiries about PR feel free to PM me or mail me :)

Just remember PR is a serious profession. If not there wouldnt be a majoring degree in PR and mass communication :)

BTW, is there any interesting event during halloween? im sure ppl would love it if MTR could arrange something :) heheh...

Went to Pyramid last week on the 28th. Met Vision but only a short while. Nothing is on yet. Even the tables are not placed yet. Poor Vision, everything he ordered were on hold due to raya. suppliers cant supply on time.

however, i believe it would be superb.

Err.... does this mean there's actually more female magicians than what I think there actually is in Malaysia. Seriously, setting up the magician restaurant is nice but the timing is not that good if u have to have female magician watiresses in mind as I think there's not many young female magicians in Malaysia right now. Females in Malaysia are currently less likely to be interested in the field. Seems likely to have to resort to gags and gimmicks and teaching them to female laymen. Hmm.... how about setting a normal restaurant first with maybe just one area of performance with normal waitresses then later switch or something. HMm..... or just continue as usual and fill the vacant jobs with normal waitresses(interns?parttimers?freelancers?) and then later switch.... Watever u decide, hope my ideas helped and good luck!
