hi edwin,
first of all what do u mean by "faro" here ? is it perfect faro or just a normal faro ? can u do 2 handed faro ? cos thats the basic . if u can do with both hand , how long it takes u to do it ?

yeah a faro sorry for the typo ..
actually im having a problem weaving packets .. either way 2 hand or one hand...
there must be a thing that i must know something im missing.. i believe u can't just bang cards into each other.. and they weave..

for a perfect faro, it helps if your deck is fairly new...
you can't push it in with force...hold the packet gentle enough, but stable
when you first try it may take a while before u get the 'feel'...but once u have the 'feel' it'll be easy to weave the cards

hmm i baru did one faro .. quite gently.. looks very perfect.. but i don'[t know how it happen ..suddenly the cards go in 1 by 1 oO almost got mental orgasm :
thanks for the advice.. i think it will just take time... and feel - ~

Here are some tips.
For a one-handed faro, it would help if your deck is seasoned and slightly bent. Position on the fingers, how far up and down is also important when you spread half of the deck. This one, you will have to figure out what works for you.
For the faro with two hands, again a seasoned deck is always nice. Not that it would be impossible with a brand new deck. In fact, the faro is a method I personally use to break down new decks naturally, always ending with a waterfall. And no, you don't bang the corners into each other mindlessly! The way I do it, I get one corner of half the deck against the side of the other. Then they naturally weave one after another. Again, this is feel. You will figure it out once you do it enough. There are also different ways to hold the deck. This one, you will have to find out which deck position you are comfortable with.
And I usually do it when I am watching TV, or staring at the wall for long periods of time. OK, I made up the staring at the wall part! But funny thing is though, I didn't even know it was a faro when I first did it. I only found out much much later. B)

Perfect two hand faro
i can do perfect two hand faro. different people do it different ways, either top to bottom or bottom to top. I do it top to bottom. How abt u guys?
One hand faro (perfect or non perfect)
i can do the non perfect one lol... i used to have difficulites weaving the cards together as well. u just gotta adjust ya finger position. tips... pinky should be at the end of the long side of the cards to give the extra strengtht o push and weave the cards together. ya index finger should be at the short end, pushing it downwards. So, basically pinky push and index pushdown to assist the weaving.
I only recently able to do this nice one hand shuffle/faro. i almost gave up long time ago coz i could not stretch my fingers as much as now. haha... but i kept telling myself this is something i want to be able to do coz it looks skillz. So guys... if i can do u guys can yeah!
Big tip: Cards should be fair seasoned, crispy but seasoned. I also noticed that fanning powder helps in the weaving process too... try it out!
Keep practicing, u'll get it oneday

Hey guys ! thanks for the great tips...
this morning i woke up and suddenlly i caught the cue for doing the 2 handed shuffle.. my way is i allign the top .. then push in the corners from top to bottom and it really weaves like cards.. and cards lol
*oh forgot to add for those who is new to this.. try to get the 1st few cards to go in between the other pack 1 after the other from where u allign ur deck .. the 1st few weaves will get your whole deck to weave its like a .. rules of the cards thing or physics thingy .. well thats so hard to put in words.. i hope it helps others.
i will work on the 1 handed one can't do a perfect one but definitely will one day .. thanks again ...
