Dove magic is very visual and strong magic but sad to say performing dove magic at our present time is not suitable due to the 'Bird Flu' (H5N1 virus). The H5N1 virus is a very deadly virus and if your dove is infected by the H5N1 virus, it will be hazardous not only for the magician but as well as the audience which includes children that are seeing your performance.

In addition to that, if you are going to perform dove magic for other countries, you would need to have the proper documents and checks for the birds before bringing them to other countries. Some countries need at least 3-5 days quarantined minimum and some doesn't even allow the doves to be brought into their country due to the bird flu.

Therefore dove magic is strongly discourage at the present moment. I read that the vaccine for bird flu is going to be completed soon. Hopefully it will works. :)

Pray for the vaccine. Dove magic facinates me.

Unless those doves are trying to migrate from Indonesia otherwise you will find a real hard time to catch the right one.

I've added dove magic into my act about 2-3 years ago. Dove is very easy to handle for magic when you compare to other animals. But please, do some research on dove before you start to get one. I still consult to my mentor until now.

It's very rare to find magician with just dove act nowadays in Malaysia. I'm working on my dove routine and hopefully I can be one of the "not too many".
I normally involve 3 doves in 15 mins act and I'm trying now to involve more.

Hope to discuss more about it with anyone interested in dove magic.

i tried to perform the "chicken's head pulled off". I did it but I didn't manage to put the head back into place. It's dead. I made a mistake.

Kidding LOL.
