EDITED BY BRENDAN
I've been asked by a few people to delete this post. I have read thru and i dont think it is appropriate for this info to be put on MMF. It is for the best and for the safety of our community. This kind of hypnotism is no joke and I as the admin feel that it is not right to put up the link here. My advice stay away from it. MMF takes no responsibilty for others actions.
Mclarenf1, hope u understand.
Scmonte, do let us know more if u have any info.
Thanks for ya cooperation.

It seems that it's a military hypnosis not any underground stuff. You can only learn it unless you are a qualified hypnotherapist. I've ask some of a NLP practitioner and hypnosist in USM to help me to check it out how real is this stuff.

I dont know if its true,
but it sounds like a bad episode of X-files.
Kennard - November 9, 2005 09:27 PM (GMT)
No problem. I understand your intentions and i m cool with it. ^_^
Don't worry, i wasn't searching for this hypnosis thing until i found it. I have no intentions to learn it or associate myself with it. It came to me.
*electric guitar with distortion plays a minor chord + thunder sound effects.

I received the link through email by www.downloadmagic.com's newsletter. If u visit the site, it is no more than a usual magic website that offers tutorials and ebooks. Funny, they sent me this piece of information.
And I don't get their intentions.
This is how the email looked like.
[i]>> Taylor Starr put up a new website and he's dropping the dime on Black Ops
hypnosis.
They say three can keep a secret.. If two are dead.
I wonder what he's thinking?
>> The DownloadMagic.com reciprocal links page is working again after a long
outage. If you have a website and would like to trade links with DownloadMagic
visit this page:
>> Keep your eyes open for my next email..
I'm in the process of uploading some free magic tricks to a secret location and
I'll be telling you how to get there!
All the best!

So why would a site like downloadmagic.com promote the dark arts, that is if its true.
If, downloadmagic is with the guy involved and is promoting it on behalf of him,by sending it to everybody in their mailing list, there would be a conflict in interest since he stressed so much on keeping it a secret.
and they should be directly involved because there is no incentive for them to promote other peoples products if they dont get a cut themselves.
and if they are the ones sending infromation to others, if it is a hoax, they will risk their reputation and business prospects since 99 usd is not a small sum of money. And if it was real, they might get into trouble if 3000 people started to hypnotize everybody and turn the world upside down because they are also involved in spreading the word.
But if it was true that the entreprenuer got hypnotised thtough email as stated, when he found the "leader" ( man who taught him this stuff ) how come he cannot hypnotise me into buying it. Perhaps he hypnotised me to spread the word through the forums. LOL
So, maybe it is real after all.
Thank you for saving me.
And i don't think they should be sending emails like this to everybody. No sense of professionalism unless they were also hypnotised to spread the word like me. So it wouldn't be their fault anyway. Sue me they say. Ha ha.
Very weird. Very disturbing.
if anyone is by any chance feel disturbed with this post please inform me and i will remove it.
But, in my opinion i feel that there should be a little more openness in order to broaden our perspective and learn more such as decision making using real-life examples. Putting a direct link might be a little bit dangerous but keeping the gist of it as a situation to learn from shouldn't harm.
Sometimes i feel that our culture as asians cultivates us into somewhat being a little narrow minded and defensive. And this might be a barrier to learn.
It would be cetainly better to teach someone to protect themselves than to protect them. If a mother bird do not let go to a certain extent their baby birdies will never learn how to fly and find food for themselves. ( excuse my language )
I think a little bit more openness will do us more good than harm. We get to know what is really happening in this world and are prepare to face it rather than getting stunned by a culture shock - or :!!:
Take for example, learning sleight of hand is like learning hypnosis. Both can harm and both can do good.
Sleight of hand - A form of entertainment or cheating
Hypnosis - Healing or cheating
If we are a society with high integrity and brought up in such a way to be able to think before acting, we would gain from almost any possible circumstances be it good or bad. The good - as an inspiration , the bad - as a lesson.
If you do a trick, you freak people out.
If you do real magic, you freak yourself and people out.
If you do real hypnosis or any mentalism effect , through the eyes of laymen, it is indifferent since the outcome is the same. Why do u think one is more justifiable than the other given that it produces the same effect. Its like killing someone with a gun is more humane than stabbing his throat and hence deserves a lesser penalty.
If all of us magicians have the ability use our skills wisely for pure entertainment and not for negative purposes ,do u think we will be vulnerable to such a scenario or do we have the maturity to decide what to follow and what not to follow.
Let us work towards that maturity. Not only to avoid what is wrong, but to know what is wrong, why its wrong, how its wrong , how different is wrong from right and how right is right and how in any circumstances can we be disillusioned that the wrong is right and the right is wrong.
anyhow, i have to mention that i really do not have any interest in hypnosis, i am just expressing my opinion since i think this is an opportunity to do so. Since this is not spoken, you wouldn't know the tone of my voice. Jsut read it as though i am talking like a soft spoken person so no one may be offended just in case it seems to hit on you. ( it isnt, really )
Sorry if there isn't alot of mentalism involved in my humble essay.
Cheers.

Or put simply, it is just the usual stuff being repackaged into something more mysterious and exclusive so it would be more marketable but not in our country for obvious reasons. Some people just like hollywood plots.
Forbidden fruits are always sweeter !
It is also pretty ironic that we try so hard to convince people we are supernatural by doing metal bending, mentalism as though we can do real magic but freak out when someone else is trying to do the same to us.
So i think freaking out over something like that deserves a chuckle.
and my my, look at the links below. Too bad it can't be removed . Only thing that can be done is to behave like smart people.
:P tsk tsk tsk
haha
