Yeapzz... the Mentalist certainly is cool all right :) Although his character is a bit... boring if I may say so? :huh: At least he thought out a logical reason for the show lah (ie. He was opening up your mind to new possibilities and realities, rather than the usual 'look at me, I can bend forks!' kinda shit). ^_^

But I still wanna see Derren Brown on local airwaves!!! :angry: I don't care! Someone bring it in! I want Derren Brown and I want him NOW!!!

Sorry, had to let go of my inner spoilt brat for a moment there. :P

well... i would give him 5/10 cause i think there's too much set up on the stage performance part...

Kenningst... the staged performances are very standard fare for mentalists (at least in the UK lah)... Derren Brown does similar shows, and I think Andy Nyman does too. Over here if you tried that them specs would juz walk right up next to you instead of staying put in their seats... And you'd hear "tipu wan... he tipu wan... i saw he hor, take the thing leh" rather loudly. <_< Oh well.

Don't we just wish we could get a nice close up table, with proper seats around for the audience like in those L&L vids? :(

I like the show. Particularly the part that he read ppl's mind on the street..so natural and isn't that the way a mentalist should be? rather than ask spec to do something then predict what he does..hmm there lies a chance of faking rite..

haha... lol guys.. that's why we cant just follow the way it is taught by overseas europe or american magician. we cant just adapt to thier style. we know our audience here are different and more sceptical and not wanting to accept its magic and will give u a hard time.. so when performing... be prepared for that kinda reaction. we should all take up a lesson on "asian" heckler management.
